What size skips are available?
We offer a range of different sizes from mini to maxi skips, for a full range of skip sizes please see our “Hire A Skip” page.
What is the most common skip size ordered?
The most common size ordered is an 8 yard skip, this is a traditional builders skip and is suitable for most driveways and home locations.
What waste streams or materials cannot go in my skip?
Most general waste streams are permitted in a skip. However below is a list of typical waste streams that are NOT permitted:
- Fridge/freezers
- Tyres
- Paint tins
- Asbestos
- Clinical/Medical waste
- Gas cylinders
- Fluorescent tubes
- Solvents
- Liquids
- Oils
- Batteries
- Plasterboard
- Hazardous/Toxic Materials

How do I pay?
Payment is requested upon booking, however if you would prefer to pay cash, you can pay this on delivery. Please choose the option at checkout and call the office to confirm this.
Where can my skip be placed?
Your skip can be placed on private land, providing there is access for it. If you do not have private land the skip can be placed on, you will need to obtain a skip permit.
How long can I keep my skip for?
All of our skips have a maximum 10 days rental period. If you require the skip for longer, there may be additional charges.
What if I don’t have room for a skip and cannot get a skip permit?
If you don’t have room for a skip and cannot get a permit for use on a public highway, try our wait and load service as a suitable skip hire alternative.
Do you offer wait and load services?
Yes we do as long as it is within a 1 hour window
Do you offer same day delivery and collection?
Yes, last collection time is 3:30pm
How soon can I have a skip delivered?
We can offer same day and next day skip hire, depending on location.
How much does skip hire Cost?
The amount you pay depends on two key things.
1. Your location – Prices throughout the West Midlands vary and depend on disposal rates, competition and the general cost of waste disposal and processing.
2. How much waste you have to dispose of – Typically skips are charged at fixed rates for a certain volume measured in cubic yards. The larger the volume the more you pay to dispose of.
What are your skip delivery hours?
Delivery on the day of hire will be between the hours of 7am and 4pm. You are not required to be present on delivery unless you specifically want to be present to ensure the skip is placed in the correct location. Please ensure the location of where the skip is to be placed is accessible for a skip lorry and clear from obstruction for both delivery and collection.
